Hints
1. If you find that you are getting stuck in covered
mazes, try dropping flags to remind you where the walls are. To
drop a flag, move the mouse pointer over the square where you want
a flag, then click the right button. The mouse can also be used
to locate where you are in the maze because the mouse's outline
box will be yellow when the mouse pointer is lined up with your
location and red when the mouse pointer is diagonal to your location.
2. If you keep getting killed in a certain puzzle,
think about why rather than how. Of course you realize
that a rock just dropped on your head, but think about what steps
you took and why they might have triggered the rock.
3. If you find yourself having a lot of trouble with
a certain puzzle, try using the level editor. Suppose an arrow keeps
setting off a rock, and you don't see why. Make a simple level that
contains a few rocks and arrows (or whatever is giving you trouble)
and practice setting them off or avoiding setting them off in as
many ways as possible. When you don't feel pressured to have to
survive the level, you will be more likely to try something wacky.
Hopefully you will discover something useful, and you can go back
to the level to try it out.
4. If you want help on any of the levels from the staff of Core Concepts or from our very helpful customers,
ask for hints on the Rich Diamond Puzzle Board. You will
usually get a hint in a short amount of time, as there are always people willing to help a fellow
adventurer!
5. If you get stuck on the infamous Level 80 of Rich
Diamond, perhaps a map would be useful. You can download a picture
by clicking on the link below. This should help you as you solve
the most incredible puzzle Rich Diamond has to offer. Some players have
commented that it takes about three weeks to solve! So are you ready
for the biggest challenge yet?
